I love the way the 3D subtly augments the 2D. Beautifully done.

Finally tracked down the documentary on wunder-editor Walter Murch:

I'm not a fan of schematic animations. I prefer the animation technology developed by the Japanese. They have managed to imitate reality very well in their animations. Irma's car is ok, but not my type.
